Alicia Silverstone

American actress, producer and author Alicia Silverstone was born on October 4, 1976, in San Francisco. Her parents are former flight attendant Deirdre and real estate agent Monty Silverstone.

Alicia worked as a model since she was 6 and took part in many TV commercials. She attended Crocker Middle School and San Mateo High School. In 1992, she got her first role in an episode of “The Wonder Years”. Just in a year, she played a leading role in “The Crush”, for which she got two MTV Movie Awards. In 1995, she was cast in the hit movie “Clueless”. The same year, she signed a contract with Columbia-TriStar and got a deal for her production company “First Kiss Productions”. In 1997, she produced her first movie “Excess Baggage”. Her other well-known films are “Batman & Robin” (1997), “Global Heresy” (2002), “Miss Match” (2003), “Angels in Stardust” (2014) and “Braceface” TV series (voice role).

In 2002, Alicia Silverstone made her Broadway debut in “The Graduate”. Later, she appeared in “Boston Marriage”, “Speed-the-Plow” and “The Performers” productions. In 2009, she published her vegan cookbook “The Kind Diet” and launched the site, dedicated to the same theme. In 2014, her second book “The Kind Mama” was presented. The actress also appeared in several music videos of Aerosmith, Rob Thomas and Beastie Boys. Moreover, Silverstone is famous for being an animal rights and environmental activist. She is a vegan since 1998.

In 2005, Alicia got married to musician Christopher Jarecki. In 2011, their son, Bear Blu Jarecki, was born.
