Carmen Electra

Carmen Electra (real name is Tara Leigh Patrick) is an American model, actress, singer and dancer. She was born on April 20, 1972, in Sharonville, Ohio. Her father is Harry Patrick, a musician and entertainer, and her mother Patricia was a singer. Electra has English, German, Irish and Dutch roots.

Carmen studied at Ann Weigel Elementary School and took dance lessons from Gloria J. Simpson at Dance Artists studio. Later, she became a student at School for Creative and Performing Arts. In 1990, she graduated from Princeton High School, simultaneously with which she attended Barbizon Modeling and Acting School.

In 1990, Electra started her professional career as a dancer in show “It’s Magic” in Kings Island amusement park. In 1991, she moved to California, where she started a singing career after signing a contract with Paisley Park Records. It was then when she became known as Carmen Electra. In 1993, her debut album “Carmen Electra” was released. In 1995, she appeared in various TV shows and in 1996, she first appeared in Playboy magazine. In 1999, she appeared in music video of the Bloodhound Gang “The Inevitable Return of the Great White Dope”. In 2006, she became a spokesperson for Max Factor cosmetics.

Carmen Electra also played in many films, the most notable of which are “Baywatch” TV series (1997-1998), “Scary Movie” (2000), “Date Movie” (2006), “Epic Movie” (2007) and “Meet the Spartans” (2008).

In 1998, Carmen married NBA player Dennis Rodman, but they separated in a year. In 2003, she got married to guitarist Dave Navarro, who was her husband till 2007.
