Elizabeth Hurley

English actress and model Elizabeth Hurley was born on June 10, 1965, in Basingstoke, Hampshire, in the family of major of the British Army Roy Leonard Hurley and teacher Angela Mary. She has sister Kate and brother Michael.

In childhood, Elizabeth dreamt about becoming a dancer and took ballet and theatre lessons. She attended Harriet Costello School. In her teens, she was a punk. In 1987, Hurley made her film debut in “Aria”. Her first Hollywood movie was “Passenger 57″. 2000 movie “Bedazzled” is considered to be her best one. She also played in “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery” (1997), for the role in which she got the ShoWest Supporting Actress of the Year award, and TV series “Gossip Girl” and “The Royals”. In 1994, together with Hugh Grant, she founded Simian Films company. The first movie, produced by her, was “Extreme Measures” (1996).

Elizabeth Hurley is also a model. In 1995, she was chosen as an Estee Lauder spokesmodel. She advertized Jordache, Shiatzy Chen, Got Milk?, Patrick Cox, MQ Clothiers, Lancel and Monsoon. In 2005, she launched her line of beachwear “Elizabeth Hurley Beach”. In 2008, she created and modelled 12 swimsuits for MANGO brand.

From 1987 to 2000, Hurley was in relationship with Hugh Grant. In 2007-2011, she was married to businessman Arun Nayar. She has a son from Steve Bing, Damian Charles Hurley (born in 2002). She is also a godmother of David and Victoria Beckham’s sons Brooklyn and Romeo as well as Patsy Kensit and Liam Gallagher’s son Lennon.
