Gisele Bundchen

Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen was born on July 20, 1980, in Tres de Maio, Rio Grande do Sul. She has five sisters, all of whom are models.

At 14, Gisele started her modelling career. In 1998, she appeared on her first British Vogue cover and became the most in-demand cover girl of her generation. The same year, she took part in advertisements for Missoni, Chloe, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Gianfranco Ferre, Ralph Lauren and Versace brands. The model has been on the covers of many prestigious magazines, including W, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Allure, international editions of Vogue, GQ, Esquire and Marie Claire. In 2001 and 2006, she posed for the Pirelli Calendar.

In 2000, Gisele Bundchen got the status of the world’s top model after signing a record-breaking contract with Victoria’s Secret brand and was called the most beautiful girl in the world. In 2007, she became the World’s Richest Supermodel. In 2011, CEOWORLD Magazine included her to the list of Top Accomplished Women Entertainers. In 2014, she also got to the list of the most powerful women in the world.

In 2013, she became the spokesmodel for Chanel make-up range “Les Beiges”. It was the first time when she became a face of the brand. In 2014, Gisele was chosen as a new face of Chanel No. 5 fragrance. Moreover, the model has her own brand of lingerie “Gisele Intimates”. In addition, she tried her hand at acting and appeared in “Taxi” (2004) and “The Devil Wears Prada” (2006) movies.

Gisele also does a lot of charitable work. She is the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme and supports numerous organizations, including Save the Children, Red Cross and Doctors without Borders.

In 2000-2005, Bundchen dated actor Leonardo DiCaprio. In 2009, she got married to football player Tom Brady. The couple has son Benjamin Rein and daughter Vivian Lake.
