Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani was born on October 3, 1969, in Fullerton, California, to accountant Patti and marketing executive Dennis. She has sister Jill, brothers Todd and Eric, who used to be a keyboardist for No Doubt.

Gwen made her stage debut at the talent competition at Loara High School, where she studied. Later, she attended Fullerton College and California State University, Fullerton. While studying, she worked at Dairy Queen and MAC makeup store.

In 1986, Gwen Stefani joined band No Doubt, which was co-founded by her brother Eric. First, she provided backing vocals, but after the death of John Spence, she became a lead singer. The first two albums “No Doubt” (1992) and “The Beacon Street Collection” (1995) weren’t very successful. In 1995, the band released “Tragic Kingdom”, which got Grammy Award nominations in 1997 and 1998. In 2000, Gwen was called “The Queen of Confessional Pop” by Rolling Stone magazine.In 2004, Gwen Stefani released her first solo album “Love. Angel. Music. Baby.”. The album got a multi-platinum status in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada and brought the singer several Grammy nominations.

Stefani likes designing clothes since childhood. Many women of her family were seamstresses and Gwen designed her first costume, being a child. In 2003, she launched her clothing line L.A.M.B. Besides clothing, the brand deals with accessories, perfumes and shoes. Moreover, the brand is popular among celebrities, including Teri Hatcher, Nicole Kidman and Lindsay Lohan. In 2014, as a joint venture with OPI Products Inc., the singer launched her nail polishes line. In 2014, she got the Style Icon Award at People Magazine Awards. Gwen is also interested in acting. In 2004, she debuted in “The Aviator” movie.

In 2002, Stefani got married to musician Gavin Rossdale. They have three sons: Kingston, Zuma and Apollo. In 2015, the couple got divorced. The same year, Gwen started dating Blake Shelton.
