Josie’s modeling career started when she was 12. At 17, she signed a contract with the Elite modeling agency. In 1998, she appeared on the cover of Glamour magazine and in a year, she made a deal with Maybelline. In 2000, 2001 and 2002, she appeared in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
