Kate Bosworth

American actress and model Kate Bosworth was born on January 2, 1983, in Los Angeles, to former executive for Talbots Harold Bosworth and his wife Patricia. She has a hazel right eye and a blue left eye because of born heterochromia iridum.

Since childhood, Kate has been interested in horse racing and even managed to become a champion equestrian. She studied at Cohasset High School and was accepted to Princeton University, but was excluded because of poor attendance. She debuted in 1998 movie “The Horse Whisperer”, the role in which she got due to her good horse riding skills. The role in 2002 “Blue Crush” became a breakthrough one for the young actress. In 2006, she got a worldwide recognition after playing in “Superman Returns”. Her other famous works are “The Rules of Attraction” (2002), “Beyond the Sea” (2004), “Bee Season” (2005), “Homefront” (2013) and “Still Alice” (2014).

In 2008, Bosworth became a new face of Calvin Klein Jeans. In 2010, she designed her jewelry line JewelMint in cooperation with stylist Cher Coulter. She also appeared in Revlon advertising campaigns. Kate Bosworth is also a member of the Appalachia Service Project and Soka Gakkai International.

From 2003 to 2006, the actress was in relationship with Orlando Bloom. In 2009-2011, Kate dated Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard. In 2013, she got married to director Michael Polish.
