Keri Russell

American actress Keri Russell was born on March 23, 1976, in Fountain Valley, California, to Nissan Motors executive David Russell and his wife Stephanie. She has brother Todd and sister Julie. Her ancestry includes English, German, German-Swiss, Northern Irish, Manx, Dutch and Danish.

She attended Highlands Ranch High School. Since childhood, Keri liked dancing. That helped her to become a member of the Mickey Mouse Club in 1991. She took part in the show till 1994 and co-stared with Ryan Gosling, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. In 1992, she got her first feature film role in “Honey, I Blew Up the Kid”. From 1998 to 2000, Russell played in TV series “Felicity”, which brought her a Golden Globe in 1999. Her other well-known roles were in “Mission: Impossible III” (2006), “Waitress” (2007), “August Rush” (2007), “Extraordinary Measures” (2010) and “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” (2014). Since 2013, she also plays in TV series “The Americans”.

In 2006, she was chosen as a face for CoverGirl Cosmetics. In 2007, the actress got married to carpenter Shane Deary. They have two children: son River and daughter Willa. In 2013, Keri and Shane separated. Since 2013, she is in relationship with actor Matthew Rhys.
