Kristen Bell

American actress Kristen Bell was born on July 18, 1980, in Huntington Woods, Michigan. She is a daughter of nurse Lorelei and TV news director Tom Bell. She has Polish and Scottish roots.

Kristen attended Shrine Catholic High School. At school, she took part in the drama and music club. In 1997, she got a role in production of “The Wizard of Oz”. In the year of her graduation, in 1998, she was called Best Looking Girl in class. The same year, she debuted in movie “Polish Wedding”. She studied musical theater at Tisch School of the Arts of the New York University. In 2001, she got a role in the Broadway musical version of “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”.

At 24, the actress got her breakthrough role in “Veronica Mars” TV series. Her other most famous movies and TV series are “Pulse” (2006), “Heroes” (2007-2008), “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” (2008), “Couples Retreat” (2009), “When in Rome” (2010), “House of Lies” (2012-present). She was an off-screen narrator of the drama series “Gossip Girl”.

Since 2013, the actress is married to actor Dax Shepard. They have two daughters, Lincoln and Delta.

Kristen Bell is a vegetarian. In 2006 and 2013, she was chosen as “World’s Sexiest Vegetarian” by PETA’s poll. In 2011, she became a new face of Neutrogena. Bell also voiced such video games as “Assassin’s Creed”, “Astro Boy” and “Disney Infinity”.
