Maria Menounos

Actress and journalist Maria Menounos was born on June 8, 1978, in Medford, Massachusetts. Her parents, Costas and Litsa Menounos, are Greek immigrants. She has a younger brother, Peter.

While studying at Medford High School, Maria worked at Dunkin’ Donuts. In 1995, she started to compete in various beauty contests. In 1996, she became Miss Massachusetts Teen USA. In her last year at Boston’s Emerson College, she became a reporter for Channel One News. In 2002, she was hired as a correspondent for “Entertainment Tonight”, where she provided movies, music and fashion news. In 2005, Menounos was a special correspondent for “Access Hollywood”.

Maria made her acting debut in 2002 in an episode of “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch”. Her first feature film was “Fantastic Four” (2005). She also played in “Kickin’ It Old Skool” (2007), “Tropic Thunder” (2008), “Adventures of Serial Buddies” (2011) and “Paranormal Movie” (2013).

Maria Menounos is also a professional wrestler since 2009 and take part in World Wrestling Entertainment. In addition, she directed “Longtime Listener” and was a producer of “Adventures of Serial Buddies”. In 2013, she launched her interview series “Conversations with Maria”. She is also a co-owner of online entertainment broadcast network AfterBuzzTV.

Since 1998, Maria is in relationship with director and producer Keven Undergaro.
