Michelle Trachtenberg

American actress Michelle Trachtenberg was born on October 11, 1985, in New York City, to bank employee Lana and engineer Michael. She has German, Russian and Jewish roots. She speaks Russian fluently and celebrates both Christmas and Hanukkah.

Michelle Trachtenberg studied at a junior high school at The Bay Academy for the Arts and Sciences and Notre Dame High School in California. Being only three years old girl, the future actress appeared in a TV commercial for Wisk. In 1994, she got her first role in “The Adventures of Pete & Pete” TV series though she first appeared in an uncredited role in an episode of “Law & Order” in 1991. In 1996, she got her first feature film role in “Harriet the Spy”. Her other well-known roles were in “EuroTrip” (2004), “Ice Princess” (2005), “Black Christmas” (2006) movies and TV series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” (2000-2003), “Gossip Girl” (2008-2012), “Mercy” (2009-2010).

Her hobbies are swimming, ice skating, playing tennis and writing poems. She also collects Barbies.
