Rachel Bilson

American actress Rachel Bilson was born on August 25, 1981, in Los Angeles. Her mother, Janice Stango, is a sex therapist and her father, Danny Bilson, is a writer, producer and director. The actress combines Jewish and Italian’American roots.

In 1999, she graduated from Notre Dame High School. Being a rebellious teenager, at 14, Bilson got into a car crash together with her brother’s friends. As a result, she remained unconsious for some time. Since then she sometimes suffers from migraines and memory loss. While studying at school, the girl took part in some students’ performances. In 2003, the actress debuted in an episode of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter”. The same year, she got her breakthrough role in “The O.C.”. In 2005, she was awarded with three Teen Choice Awards for “Choice Hottie Female”, “Choice TV actress (Drama)” and “Best Onscreen TV Chemistry” (with Adam Body). Rachel Bilson’s first feature role was in “The Last Kiss”. In 2011, she started to perform a lead role in “Hart of Dixie” TV series.

From 2003 to 2006, Rachel dated actor Adam Brody, with whom she played in “The O.C”. Since 2007, she is in relationship with actor Hayden Christensen. They have a daughter, Briar Rose, who was born in 2014.
