Rachel Stevens

Rachel Stevens was born on April 9, 1978, in Southgate, London.

Stevens attended Osidge JMI School and Ashmole School. In 1993, she won a modeling contest. While working as a model, she studied business at the London College of Fashion She also worked in a film company and later in public relations, but soon decided to become a singer. Being a member of S Club 7 band, she first raised to fame in 1999, when the group was cast for Miami 7 TV series. In 2003, the group disbanded and Rachel started her solo career. The same year she released her debut album “Funky Dory”. In 2004, she earned a Guinness World Record for “Most Public Appearances by a Pop Star in 24 Hours in Different Cities” by appearing 7 times. In 2005, her second studio album “Come and Get It” was presented. In 2007, it got to Guardian’s “1,000 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die” list.

In 2008, Rachel Stevens took part in “Strictly Come Dancing”. Together with her partner Vincent Simone, they hold the record for the most perfect 10s ever achieved in any series of “Strictly Come Dancing”. She is also considered to be the most successful contestant of the show, though she occupied the second place. In 2015, she and other members of S Club 7 reunited for “Bring It All Back 2015″ tour.

Stevens is also an actress. She appeared in “Suzie Gold” (2004), “Spider-Plant Man” (2005) and “Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo” (2005) movies. She also appeared in some TV series and TV projects. In 2015, she became a judge at “The Voice of Ireland”.

Since 2009, Rachel is married to actor Alex Bourne. The couple has two daughters, Amelie and Minnie Blossom.
