Renee Zellweger

Renee Zellweger was born on April 25, 1969, in Katy, Texas, the daughter of Swiss engineer Emil Erich Zellweger and nurse of Norwegian origin Kjellfrid Irene.

While attending Katy High School, Renee went in for gymnastics and was a drama club member. In 1991, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and became a B.A. in English. In 1994, she got her debut role in “Reality Bites”. The role of Jenny in “Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation” (1994) was the first lead role in her career. In 1996, Zellweger made a breakthrough after playing in “Jerry Maguire”.
