Vanessa Lengies

Canadian actress Vanessa Lengies was born on July 21, 1985, in Hudson, Quebec. Her father is German and her mother is from Egypt.

Vanessa attended Hudson High School. She started her career with Canadian TV shows “Sponk!”, “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, “Radio Active” and “Popular Mechanics for Kids”. In 2002, she was cast for TV series “American Dreams”. In 2005, she played in “The Perfect Man” together with Hilary Duff and Heather Locklear. In 2011, she got a role of Sugar Motta in “Glee” TV series and was nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards for it. Lengies also starred in “Stick It” (2006), “Foreign Exchange” (2008) movies and TV series “Monarch Cove” (2006), “Mixology” (2014) and “Second Chance” (2016).
