It’s hard to think about the idea of a training montage without immediately thinking about the Rocky series.
While the six Rocky films (and two Creed films) do offer more than just exciting scenes of getting in shape and preparing for boxing matches, the training montages often emerge as highlights.
After all, these underdog films are always about getting better, stronger, and more focused to take on new challenges, and there’s no better way to do that than in a slickly edited training montage.
