2018 Outstanding Reality-Competition Emmy Predictions

Last year the stars seemed aligned for “RuPaul’s Drag Race” to snatch the Emmy crown from “The Voice,” but Television Academy voters stunned observers by picking the NBC singing competition for the third straight year and four out of the last five years (ratings matter).

The question now is whether the rebooted “American Idol” or previous nominees “Dancing with the Stars” or “Survivor” can return to the field.
