Time may be an ever-flowing river, but it’s hard to believe it’s been 30 years since the first (and best) “Jurassic Park” movie graced the big screen.
Universal Products & Experiences and Amblin Entertainment knew just how to market/commemorate the occasion, however, and set up an immersive experience at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
The experience is replete with more than a few photo opportunities from some of the film’s most memorable moments as well as the chance to nosh on some dino-shaped chicken nuggets while buying some 30th-anniversary merchandise via Amazon.I had the chance to walk through the attraction, appropriately titled “Step Into Jurassic Park,” and — after having a nice meet-and-greet with a baby raptor at the door — was eager to follow in the footsteps of doctors Ellie Sattler, Alan Grant, Malcolm Reynolds, and yes, even that asshat of a lawyer, Donald Gennaro, as they enter through the gates…
