With that surely in mind, Apple has splurged on an early Christmas present for itself, beating out Netflix, Warner Bros.
and Paramount for the rights to A Christmas Carol, a new live-action musical based on the Charles Dickens classic that will star Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell, and be written and directed by Daddy’s Home filmmakers Sean Anders and John Morris.
