Benedict Cumberbatch says he’s happy to wait for the release of his Harvey Weinstein-tainted historical epic The Current War.The film, looking at the rivalry between electricity innovators Thomas Edison (played by Cumberbatch) and George Westinghouse (Michael Shannon), was a casualty in last year’s fallout of the revelations about the disgraced movie mogul, who acted as producer on the project.Initially due for release toward the end of 2017 and once tipped as an Oscar contender, The Current War no longer has a domestic release date.
