‘Black Panther,’ ‘Walking Dead’ Rule Saturn Awards Nominations

Disney dominated the Saturn Awards nominations on Thursday morning.Marvel’s “Black Panther” nabbed a leading 14 noms, followed by Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” with 13.The winners of the 44th annual awards show will be announced by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films in June.Guillermo del Toro’s “The Shape of Water” and Denis Villeneuve’s “Blade Runner 2049” each earned nine nominations.

Patty Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman” and James Mangold’s “Logan” scored six nods apiece.

Jordan Peele’s “Get Out” received five and Matt Reeves’ “War for the Planet of the Apes” took four.AMC’s “The Walking Dead” led the TV fields with seven nominations, while its spinoff, “Fear the Walking Dead,” nabbed three.
