Brad Pitt’s ‘Bullet Train’ and Jack Black & Ice Cube Comedy ‘Oh Hell No’ Scheduled for 2022 By Sony

Sony Pictures has scheduled two major tentpole films for 2022: David Leitch’s “Bullet Train” will debut on April 8, and Kitao Sakurai’s comedy “Oh Hell No” will release on July 1.Based on the book “Maria Beetle” by Kotaro Isaka, “Bullet Train” follows five assassins who find themselves on a bullet train in Japan and realize that their assignments are related.

The film’s ensemble cast will Brad Pitt, Joey King, Andrew Koji, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hiroyuki Sanada, Benito A Martínez Ocasio and Sandra Bullock.Leitch, who directed “John Wick” and “Atomic Blonde,” will helm the film from a screenplay by Zak Olkewicz.

Kelly McCormick, Leitch and Antoine Fuqua serve as producers on the project.

Ryosuke Saegusa, Yuma Terada, Brent O’Connor and Kat Samick are executive producers.

It was reported by Variety back in December that the set was shut down due to a Covid scare.
