There are films that lend themselves to sequels.
A Marvel movie is bound to have a sequel because they’re always more story to tell with the heroes.
“The Godfather” is a rare film that actually had a sequel that was even better than the original.
However, for many films, the story begins and ends, with no clear sequel in mind.
If you watched “Call Me By Your Name” and thought it fit in with that latter category, then you’re probably going to be confused.
