In 2018, a junior association football (soccer) team of 12 children, ages 11-16, and their 25-year-old assistant coach decided to go spelunking in the Tham Luang Nang Non cave in Thailand.

While they were in there, heavy rains began to fall, and they became trapped by a flash flood.
