Steven Spielberg made it official today that Colin Trevorrow is coming back to the Jurassic World franchise, directing the third installment.
Trevorrow was responsible for rebooting the Amblin 1990s’ movie Jurassic Park with 2015’s Jurassic World making it the fourth-highest grossing title of all-time with $1.67 billion at the global B.O.
The filmmaker last year departed his directing duties on Star Wars: Episode IX which J.J.
Abrams took over.
