Paramount Pictures will release the upcoming adaptation of the hit children’s TV show “Dora The Explorer” on August 2, 2019, the studio announced on Monday.
Based on the show that premiered on Nick Jr.
in 2000, the film will be produced by Platinum Dunes with Andrew Form and Brad Fuller listed as producers.
Nick Stoller, whose past work includes “Neighbors” and “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie,” is penning the script.
The movie will reportedly take place several years after the series, as Dora, now a teenager, moves to the big city to live with his cousin, Diego.
