Marvel is finally making its first female-led superhero tentpole thanks to Brie Larson’s “Captain Marvel,” but one female superhero that won’t be following suit is Scarlet Witch.
Elizabeth Olsen told podcast host Danny Pellegrino that she “definitely isn’t pushing” for a standalone movie any time soon.
Luckily for Olsen, Marvel isn’t looking to make one right now either.“We are at ground zero.
It’s definitely not something I’m pushing, and I don’t know if it’s something that [Marvel is] going to push either,” Olsen said.
“Paul Bettany and I joked about having a domestic television show on Netflix or something, and it would just be like a house event where Scarlet Witch goes bananas.
That’s what we joke about, but I don’t think any of those things are happening.
