The Writer’s Guild of American handed out the 2018 WGA Awards at two concurrent ceremonies on Sunday evening in New York and Los Angeles.
As always, the writers liked to defy expectations while keeping their reputations intact as “sort of” Oscar precursors and that’s good news for “Get Out” and “Call Me By Your Name.” The Los Angeles ceremony was hosted by Patton Oswalt and the New York ceremony was emceed by Julie Klausner.
