Now back for a new season, it looks like the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are just getting started.Loosely adapted from the 80s show of the same name, “Glow” tells the story of Ruth (Alison Brie), an aspiring actress thrown in the world of women’s wrestling.
The first season explores the women’s new lives as professional wrestlers.
Season 2, which premieres in June, looks like it’ll focus more on the struggles that come with making a television show out of them.But in this first teaser, the ladies seem more than ready for the challenge.
Getting ready in the locker room to Michael Sembello’s “Maniac,” they lip-sync and dance passionately into the camera in a definite homage to the “Flashdance” music video.
