Fresh off winning Oscars for Best Original Screenplay and Best Picture for the race relations drama Green Book, filmmaker Peter Farrelly has settled on his next project.
Per Variety, Farrelly will next direct an adaptation of the Joanna Molloy and John “Chickie” Donohue book The Greatest Beer Run Ever: A True Story of Friendship Stronger Than War, which chronicles how Donohue left New York in 1967 to head over to Vietnam and bring his friends messages of support—and beer—in the face of anti-war protestors and low morale.
