Rob Schneider Criticizes ‘Saturday Night Live’ For Being Outspokenly Anti-Trump

Rob Schneider was a cast member on “Saturday Night Live” from 1990 to 1994, appearing in sketches opposite Adam Sandler, Dana Carvey, and Chris Farley, but the comedian has a bone to pick with the NBC sketch comedy series these days.

Speaking to the New York Daily News, Schneider criticizes “SNL” for being so outspokenly anti-Donald Trump.“The fun of ‘Saturday Night Live’ was always you never knew which way they leaned politically,” Schneider said.

“You kind of assumed they would lean more left and liberal, but now the cat’s out of the bag they are completely against Trump, which I think makes it less interesting because you know the direction the piece is going.”Part of the issue is Alec Baldwin’s problematic impression of President Trump, says Schneider.
