The “Scream” franchise just got a serious upgrade.
According to Bloody Disgusting, Samara Weaving will be joining the cast of the upcoming “Scream 6,” reuniting with “Ready or Not” directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who helmed “Scream 5” and are tackling the next installment as well.
The film is currently in production with a release date early next year, so fans won’t have to wait too long to see what role Weaving has to play in the funny and fearsome franchise.
