The 39-year-old has just appeared on This Morning, where she struggled valiantly to pitch her new film Wander Darkly, in which she plays a woman who may or may not have survived a car crash.

Now here she is in her bedroom, with her fresh, non-shiny face framed by bright blond locks.
“Like a normal person again,” she says cheerfully.
