The 7 Best Movies New to Netflix in August 2020

Netflix is ending the summer with its most interesting and unpredictable slate of the season, as the streamer is set to roll out an uncommonly deep and diverse roster of acquisitions and Originals; most of these movies have yet to screen in the United States (and some haven’t been shown anywhere), but odds are at least a few of them will prove to be diamonds in the rough.

Netflix’s biggest Original of the month — the Jamie Foxx vehicle “Project Power” — definitely has the potential to spice up the dog days.
