When Tiffany Haddish and Maya Rudolph took the stage at the 90th Academy Awards, viewers weren’t the only ones thinking she should come back in a more permanent capacity.“Look, in my mind, Maya [Rudolph] and I auditioned for the ultimate job — because I thought we were getting paid for that presentation,” Haddish said after the SXSW premiere of her new TBS comedy, “The Last O.G.” “Then I found out we didn’t get paid, and I was like, ‘Well, I heard about gift bags,’ and they were like, ‘We don’t have any bags.’ ‘So what do I get?’ And they were like, ‘Well, there’s this bottle of wine — this $13 bottle of wine.’”Haddish was asked by the moderator, Variety’s Ramin Setoodeh, if she would be interested in hosting the Oscars.“I would love to do something like that,” Haddish said.
