According to Deadline, the upcoming live-action “The Boys” spin-off has lost two of its leads.
Aimee Carrero (“Maid”) and Shane Paul McGhie (“The Last Shift“) have left the series, which is set at America’s only college exclusively for superheroes.
The series has been in development for over a year and a half, which likely lead to the departure of Carrero and McGhie. The series is still in production with plans to recast the roles.
Fans have been patiently waiting for season 3 of “The Boys” for over two years, so they’ll just as surely wait to see what kind of twisted greatness the spin-off can pull off.
