No specific date set at time of writing.Universal and MGM have pushed horror reboot Candyman produced by Jordan Peele and directed by Nia DaCosta from its October 16 slot into 2021.Industry observers speculated that the film was to be the first to fall under the window-collapsing, revenue-share deal between Universal and AMC Entertainment announced in late July whereby select titles will go on to premium VoD after 17 in cinemas.A specific date in 2021 had not been announced at time of writing and a press release issued by Universal said the film’s partners were looking forward to a theatrical release.
