“Away” was seemingly poised to be Netflix’s next big sci-fi hit.
Released in 2020 when all of us were still in desperate need of things to binge while locked away in our homes, the show starred Hilary Swank at the head of a killer ensemble cast.
It had an interesting premise involving the first manned mission to Mars, and it was all over Netflix’s daily top 10 lists upon release.
Unfortunately, the show was scrapped before it really got a chance to get off the ground.
