X-Men: Apocalypse’s Olivia Munn found Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg’s lack of X-Men knowledge “very frustrating”

Although the series produced a number of memorable instalments throughout its 20-year history, fans of Marvel’s mutant superheroes are unlikely to be shedding too many tears over 20th Century Fox’s X-Men franchise coming to an end following the studio’s recent acquisition by Disney.With fans already looking forward to the inevitable Marvel Studios reboot, the final instalment, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, arrived with little anticipation, and unsurprisingly it tanked hard at the box office, where it is currently on course to become the biggest superhero flop of all time.
