For the first time in its almost 100-year-old history, Walt Disney Animation Studios is entering the realm of television.
Gone are the days when a TV-focused studio would produce lesser versions of the movie characters, where every popular Disney movie got a spin-off show, now it is the main studio doing the work in feature-like quality.
