Bai Ling

American actress of Chinese origin Bai Ling was born on October 10, 1966, in Chengdu, People’s Republic of China. Her father Bai Yuxiang was a musician in the People’s Liberation Army while her mother Chen Binbin worked as a dancer, stage actress and a literature teacher in Sichuan University.

In childhood, she liked acting and performing. At 14, she became an artist soldier at the People’s Liberation Army, where she performed in the musical theater. Later, she started to play professionally at People’s Art Theater of Chengdu. In 1985, she got her first movie role in “On The Beach”. In 1991, she moved to the USA. In 1994, she got her first leading role in America in “The Crow”. Her most well-known roles were in “Red Corner” (1997), “Wild Wild West” (1999), “Anna and the King” (1999), “Three… Extremes” (2004), “Southland Tales” (2006) and “Crank: High Voltage” (2009). The role in 2013 “The Gauntlet” brought her the Best Actress awards at the Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood and at 2014 Asians On Film Festival.

In 2005, Bai Ling was a member of the official jury at the 55th Berlin International Film Festival. In 2014, she was a member of the jury at the Mumbai Film Festival.

The actress suffered from alcoholism and took part in TV series “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew”, which showed her recovery from alcohol addiction. She is also openly bisexual.

Kate Bosworth

American actress and model Kate Bosworth was born on January 2, 1983, in Los Angeles, to former executive for Talbots Harold Bosworth and his wife Patricia. She has a hazel right eye and a blue left eye because of born heterochromia iridum.

Renee Zellweger

Renee Zellweger was born on April 25, 1969, in Katy, Texas, the daughter of Swiss engineer Emil Erich Zellweger and nurse of Norwegian origin Kjellfrid Irene.

While attending Katy High School, Renee went in for gymnastics and was a drama club member. In 1991, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and became a B.A. in English. Kristin Kreuk

Canadian actress Kristin Kreuk was born on December 30, 1982, in Vancouver, British Columbia, in the family of landscape architects Peter and Deanne. She has younger sister Justine.

American actress Uma Thurman was born on April 29, 1970, in Boston, to academic and writer Robert Alexander Farrar Thurman and model, and later a psychotherapist, Nena von Schlebrugge. Uma was named after Parvati, the Hindu goddess of love and fertility.

Alicia Keys (born Alicia Augello Cook) was born on January 25, 1981, in New York. Her father, Craig Cook, is a flight attendant while her mother Teresa is a paralegal and actress.

Alicia started to write songs at the age of 14. She attended Professional Performing Arts School and became a student of Columbia University, but dropped out of it after four weeks in order to proceed with her career as she had already signed a contract with Columbia Records. American actress Evan Rachel Wood was born on September 7, 1987, in Raleigh, North Carolina, to actor/singer/director Ira David Wood III and actress/director Sara Lynn Moore.

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman (born Neta-Lee Hershlag) was born on June 9, 1981, in Jerusalem.

When Natalie was three years old, her family moved to the United States. Since she was four, the girl went in for dancing classes. She studied at Charles E.
