A Wild Fan Theory Links Tim Burton’s Animated Films Together

Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas premiered in theaters across the U.S.

in October 1993.

With its 30th anniversary approaching, it brings several discussions to mind about the film given its impact within the industry and its immense following.

These discussions include interviews with its filmmakers, pieces covering its inspiration, and the road to its release, but some of the most interesting topics come from fan theories about its story.

Naturally, some of these can be a bit of a reach such as Jack Skellington (Chris Sarandon; Danny Elfman) actually being Ankou, a henchman of Death in Celtic folklore.

While many have not been confirmed, there are some that actually make sense.
