The controversial Netflix series “Dear White People” from creator Justin Simien is coming back sooner than you might have expected.
Based on the hit indie film of the same name, “Dear White People” follows a group of Black students who deal with a variety of social injustices while going to a predominantly white school.
The first season sparked a bit of controversy when the first trailer received some backlash from people claiming it was “racist” against white people.
