Now that’s more like it.I’ll admit I’ve found myself surprisingly charmed by the unique direction that season 1 showrunners Steven Kane and Kyle Killen have taken this “Halo” series so far, flaws and all.
Rather than walking down the obvious path of crafting a straightforward adaptation of “Combat Evolved,” they instead opted for a downright strange detour into a sci-fi universe that almost feels as if it carries the “Halo” brand name as a matter of happenstance.
