BBC co-producing feature doc.Simon Chinn, the two-time Oscar-winning producer of Man On Wire and Searching For Sugar Man, is working on a feature documentary about former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
Embankment Films has boarded sales on the project and will launch it at Cannes next week.Citizen Harvey (working title) is also from Chinn’s Emmy-winning cousin Jonathan Chinn (La 92) who produces through their Lightbox banner alongside Poppy Dixon (The Imposter).
Bafta-nominee Ursula Macfarlane (Captive) is directing.The BBC is co-producing and co-financing the film.
