How Quentin Tarantino Inspired Edgar Wright’s ‘Last Night in Soho’

Quentin Tarantino made an enormous splash with his first two screenplays True Romance and Natural Born Killers which were directed by Tony Scott and Oliver Stone respectively.

From there, Tarantino was able to direct his own scripts such as Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

Since the release of his ninth film, the critically acclaimed Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood starring Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, and Margaret Qualley, the filmmaker has announced his plans to retire after his upcoming film The Movie Critic.

Tarantino has always been a filmmaker obsessed with curating his own career, and “to end it with, like, a good movie is kind of phenomenal,” he told the Pure Cinema Podcast.
