Development deepens long-standing ties with studio.Jon Favreau will write and serve as executive producer on a live-action Star Wars series for Disney’s upcoming streaming platform.Lucasfilm announced the development on StarWars.com on Thursday morning (March 8).Favreau has played roles in both Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series and in the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story.
