‘Mandibles’ Creates Buzz at Venice as French Genre Fare Fights for Place at Table

When Quentin Dupieux’s “Mandibles,” a buddy comedy about two bumbling dolts and a giant CGI bug, premieres out of competition at the Venice Film Festival on Sept.
