Now, it’s the celestial bodies themselves that are invading in the new trailer for Roland Emmerich’s upcoming disaster movie “Moonfall.”Though Emmerich might not be the most esteemed director working in Hollywood, there’s no denying that his style has come to shape the modern big-budget disaster epic.
In “Independence Day,” the villains were aliens flying awe-inspiring, city-sized spaceships.
“The Day After Tomorrow” was a warning that climate change might be corrected by a new ice age wiping out most of humanity.
