You can argue that one of the biggest “gets” for the Marvel Cinematic Universe during the early stages of its film industry domination was landing Natalie Portman to co-star with relative unknown Chris Hemsworth in 2011’s “Thor.” She would then stick around for the second film, ‘Dark something-or-another’ (desperately trying to forget it).
